El pasado jueves 8 de Noviembre era un dÃa un tanto especial para la conocida blogger / it girl Gala González, puesto que suponÃa el lanzamiento de su colección capsula para Mango Touch. He de decir que este tipo de colecciones asà de primeras no me entusiasman puesto que pueden perder parte del diseño para centrarse unicamente en el nombre de la casa / blogger / personaje que las firman (veáse el exito de las sucesivas Kardashian Kollections a pesar de su dudoso gusto). Sin emabrgo, creo que tanto Mango como Gala han dado en el clavo con esta lÃnea. El mayor acierto a mi ver, es que propone un conjunto de prendas que no dista mucho de las colecciones a las que nos tiene acostumbrados Mango, sin perder el toque personal y el estilo mostrado en amlul. No es una colección tan ostentosa ni a nivel de prendas ni de publicidad como pudieran ser la de Versace o Anna Dello Russo para H&M, pero si es una lÃnea que gustará tanto a las compradoras habituales de la casa Mango, como a todas las seguidoras de sus looks en el blog. De la colección destacarÃa fundamentalmente los complementos, especialmente las slippers y los tacones con la plataforma dorada que evocan un espÃritu barroco a la par que elegante. Esto ultimo, elegancia, un toque urbano y algunos tintes dorados caracterizan esta colección, que aquà en Barcelona podéis encontrar en las tiendas de Rambla Catalunya y de Portaferrissa. Last tuesday, October the 8th, was an special day for the famous blogger / it girl Gala Gonzalez as her first capsule collection for Mango Touch was launched. I have to say that this type of collections don't usually please me at first, because sometimes they tend to focus on the name of the celeb / house that signs them and design loses importance (see the huge success of the several Kardashian Kollections that are everything but design). However, I was pleasently surprised by Gala's designs. The biggest hit in my opinion, is that she has come up with some pieces that match the usual Mango style, without losing the personal touch shown in her daily looks in amlul. Pieces are not as pretentious as those presented in collecions like Anna Dello Russo or Versace for H&M, but it's a line that will please both usual Mango buyers and her fans. I would specially point out accessories, like the slippers and the platform high heels which are to die for with that baroque touch. I think this elegant / urban style / "goldenesque" collection will be a hit for both Gala and Mango, which, if you're in Barcelona, can find in the Rambla Catalunya and Portaferrissa's stores.
