Ya pudistéis ver el post anterior con la primera parte de la NYFW y del desfile de The Blonds, y aquí tenéis el resto de propuestas de otros diseñadores durante esta semana en Nueva York. Esta pasarela es un continuo ir y venir de desfiles, así que aquí están los que más han llamado la atención para bien o para mal.
Los mejores; la elegancia clásica de Oscar de la Renta y Carolina Herrera, los diseños inspirados en Juego de Tronos de las hermanas Rodarte, el desfile de Naeem Khan, y el que para mi ha sido el mejor: Diane von Furstenberg. Completamente metida en espiritu veraniego presenta una colección llena de colores vivos, sedas mezclados con metales y tonos pastel. Un 10.
Los que no han estado tan bien; Por mucho que me apedreéis por decir esto, no puedo coger por ninguna parte los diseños de Marc Jacobs. Algunas prendas como el primer vestido son excepcionales, pero la idea de esa estética sesentera / Twiggy y estampados a rayas no me llega a convencer. A su vez, Tommy Hilfiger tampoco me convence demasiado, y es que la estética "fin de semana en los Hamptons" no es muy de mi estilo. Badgley Mischka tiene vestidos preciosos, pero depende de la celebrity que se los ponga pareceran salidos de un baile de graduación americano. Aun así, ha sido una pasarela espectacular, con grandes street-looks y en la que a mi parecer a sobresalido la tendencia de los juegos geométricos, de cortes y capas. ¿Cuales son vuestras favoritas?
You could already see in the previous posts, the first part of the NYFW and The Blonds runway show, and here's the rest of collections from other designers. As you may know, there are dozens of shows everyday, so this is just a compilation of the best and the worst according to us. The best; classic elegance of Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera, the Game of Thrones inspired designs of the Rodarte sisters, Naeem Khan's collection, and my personal favourite: Diane von Furstenberg. Completely in the spring spirit, she presented a collection full of bright colors, silks mixed with metals, and pastel tones. 10/10
The ones that were kind of dissapointing; I know you're going to throw rocks at me, but seriously, I just can't like the Marc Jacobs collection. Some pieces, like the first dress are outstanding, and it may grow on me, but I'm not quite sold on this 60's/Twiggy style with stripes. Same happens with Tommy Hilfiger, but it might be because of this "weekend at the Hampstons" style, which I don't really like. Badgley Mischka has stunning gowns, but in the hands of the wrong celebs, might look like taken from a prom. Above all, this has been a great week, in which I would say that the geometrical/cut-out games trend has risen again. Which are your favourites?
