Last 29th of June, under a massive heatwave, the latest edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion started in Barcelona, with the Mango show being the first one. Five intense days full of shows, fashionistas filling the Estadi Olímpic, pop-up stores, markets and food trucks. A total of 37 designers and brands from Catalonia will show their designs for spring/summer 2016. First day highlights included Isometric, Blame Label and Josep Abril.
ISOMETRIC

Tailored fabrics juxtaposed with technical fabrics, in the same way that digital prints with manual embroidery portray the process of scientific creation. White, grey and maroon define this collection inspired by the "Poincaré Conjecture"
BLAME LABEL
Con tan solo un año de vida, Blame Label, la firma creada por Pablo Puig en 2014 dejó a todos los asistentes boquiabiertos con sus propuestas y su puesta en escena. Unas plataformas giratorias sobre las que se colocaban los modelos, eran la herramienta perfecta para contemplar las piezas de AUREARI. Piezas asimétricas, basadas únicamente en el negro, el blanco y el azul, adornadas con sobrios complementos de líneas limpias y rectas.
With just one year under his belt, Blame Label, the brand created by Pablo Puig in 2014 left all the assistants in awe with the spectacular staging of the show. Circular revolving platforms in which the models stood were the perfect tool to showcase AUREARI's pieces. Asymetrical silhouettes, based only on blue, black and white accompanied by elegant and clean bags and accessories.
JOSEP ABRIL
Uno de los veteranos de la 080, y uno de mis favoritos de siempre, Josep Abril, volvió a demostrar que la sobriedad, el pret a porter y el diseño no están reñidos. En su línea de tonos grises, azules y beige, propone una colección en la que no dice adiós del todo al pantalón recto pero explora diversas siluetas, cortes y larguras.
One of the veterans of the 080, and one of my all time favourites, Josep Abril once again proved to everyone that sobriety, pret a porter and design can all be combined. In his usual palette of grey blue and beige he delivers a collection in which he does not totally abandon straight trousers but he also explores new lengths, silhouettes and tailoring patterns.
