Al hablar de arquitectura muchas veces nos olvidamos de las ciudades. No se si es porque últimamente he estado muy dedicado a la urbanística, pero me fascina la idea del poder que la ciudad tiene sobre el individuo y viceversa. El sitio donde vivimos nos condiciona  en gran medida, sin darnos cuenta,  social y culturalmente. Somos lo que vivimos y somos donde vivimos. Cuando un arquitecto proyecta una idea de ciudad, la forma y composición de esta afecta a la forma de vida de sus habitantes, a sus relaciones y en definitiva a el tipo de vida que se da en estas ciudades. El vivir en la ciudad durante dos años me ha aportado experiencias y momentos que de otra manera no podrían haberse dado. Las metrópolis son sitios donde perderse fácilmente no solo físicamente, sino entre tanto bullicio y multitud. La confusión de la pérdida, la incertidumbre de no tener claro quien se es, es lo que realmente nos hace ir esculpiendo nuestro yo, quien queremos ser, dentro de este mar de hormigón, acero, cables, trenes, ruido, suciedad y estímulos.  Saber discernir de todos estos, cuales son los que queremos y necesitamos, cuales queremos y son tóxicos, y cuales no queremos y son necesarios es fruto de nuestro crecimiento como personas. Siempre es necesario perderse para poder encontrarse, y en mi opinión, solo te puedes encontrar en la ciudad  

While talking about architecture we usually forget about cities. I don't know if it's because I've been very focused on Urbanistic, but I feel fascinated by the power that city has over a individual and vice versaThe place we live in affects us social and culturally. We are what we live and we are where we live. When an architect starts projecting the idea of a city, its shape and composition affects the way of life of its inhabitants, their relations and most definetely how people live in this cities. Living in Barcelona for two years has given me many moments and memories that otherwise would've never happened. Metropolis are places where getting lost not only phisically, but in between the noise and the crowd. The confussion brought by the loss, the uncertainty of not knowing who you are is what really makes us build ourselves, who we want to be, inside of this sea of concrete, steel, cables, trains, noise and dirt. Knowing which stimuli are the ones we want and need, the ones we want and are toxic, and the ones we don't need and are necessary is the result of our growth as a person. Getting lost is always necessary to find yourself, and in my opinion, you can only do it in a city
